Founded in 2010 Gartner Lewin is a London and Dorset based luxury interior design practice specialising in Interior architecture and design. We have built a reputation of creating individual interiors and spaces with beautiful timeless and thoughtful results in both the UK and abroad.

Spearheaded by Shelagh Gartner Lewinsohn; my knowledge and expertise has been gained throughout the past 20 years since completing my degree in Interior architecture and design I have been fully engaged with in the highend luxury residential sector. I have great appreciation for all eras and styles of design, understanding of the vernacular, preservation of historic buildings as well as designing with a 21st century mindset keeping technology and purposeful living in the forefront of my designs.

Since completing a specialist interior design degree it is evident that her field is truly her passion. Shelagh has an appreciation for all eras and styles of design and an admiration for various cultural influences; allowing her to tap into different approaches for each of her clients.

This ideology develops from deep understanding of my clients aspirations, a true appreciation for varying architectural and interior styles, along with in-depth understanding of the constraints of light, proportions, space, flow and environment.

My vision for each of my clients is never the same as the last or the next, individuality within personal space is imperative for cultural identity; The result is an interior that tells a story and most importantly reflects my clients footprint in life….a successful interior should enhance and not dictate the way you live. I use my in-depth understanding of architectural constraints in a built spaces such as light, proportion of space, flow and practical living. All of these areas of design are considered with a biophilic, sustainable approach with nuro architectural guidance that helps improve quality of life and fundamentally provides the new ‘Luxury’ living spaces that are healthier spaces.
